STEPS TO Make REPREVE® RECEYCLED WEBBING Step-by-Step
- Source Recycled Waste: Recycled plastic bottles and post-industrial waste (including our own) are collected worldwide.
- Make the Chip: Waste material is chopped, ground, washed, melted, and reformulated into high-quality REPREVE® chips.
- Form the Fiber: The chip product is melted into liquid polymer and extruded through tiny openings in spinnerets to create continuous filaments that form REPREVE® fiber.
- Process the Yarn: Fiber becomes by spinning it and air-jet texturing.
- Ship to ACW: Finished yarn goes into webbing and narrow fabrics that make our products sustainable.
